What size marquee do I need?
It depends on the number of guests, type of function, size and shape of
tables, dance floor, band, etc. The following table will give you an
idea.

What
size Dance floor do I need?
It is difficult to guess the perfect size because it depends on so many
things that can’t be measured. The mood of the people, the music etc.
A starting point is to assume half the guests are on the dance floor at a
given time and allow 5ft2
(.47m2) per person.

Can I
erect the marquee myself?
Generally no. Most of our marquees are frame or larger rope & pole
marquees. For reasons of safety, quality, and to avoid damage, these
must be erected by our trained staff. We have some Do-It-Yourself
marquees (all rope & pole) that you can erect yourself.
Can the marquee be put next to our garage/carport?
Only frame marquees can be erected up against a building.
Do I have to wash items before returning?
Crockery, cutlery & glasses must be returned clean & dry. An additional
fee will be charged if they are returned dirty.
Linen does not need to be washed but should be shaken clean and packed
into the bags provided.
When do you erect the marquee?
For large events on a weekend (eg weddings) we usually erect on
Wednesday or Thursday before and dismantle on Monday or Tuesday
following.
Do all marquees have to be pegged?
Rope and pole marquees must be pegged. Frame marquees are free standing
and they should be pegged but in some circumstances can be tied to
weights.
What is the difference between a rope & pole marquee, a frame marquee
and a structure?
See Marquee Types
What are your payment terms?
To secure a booking we require a deposit of 30%.
The balance is due and payable on the day of delivery (unless otherwise
arranged before hand).
When do I need to book?
As early as possible to ensure what you want is available. Many
functions are booked months ahead.
Certain times of the year (eg February, March) are always heavily booked
and usually 12 months ahead.
